Red Velvet cup cakes

Red Velvet cupcakes
2 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1/2 cups powdered cocoa
1 t baking soda
1/4 t sea salt
1 cup room temperature butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 ENTIRE bottle of red food coloring (yes you read correctly)
2 t pure vanilla
Mix dry ingredients together and set aside. In a mixing bowl beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy, beat in eggs. Mix in sour cream, milk, food color and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour mixture till blended. Spoon into cupcake tins lined with paper liners, filling 2/3 full. Bake @350 for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completly, don't be impatient! Frost with cream cheese frosting.
Cream cheese frosting
1 package (8 ounce) room temperature cream cheese
4 t butter room temperature also
2 T sour cream
2 t vanilla
Beat all ingredients together until smooth, stir in 16 ounces of powdered sugar. Frost cupcakes.
